Prediction of flow-induced noise has been one of the main driving forces behind the development of the G3D::Flow code framework. The European framework programme JEAN was a starting point for the computational aeroacoustics (CAA) activities at the Division of Fluid Dynamics and also a starting point for the development of codes for this purpose.
